The CBSE has officially released the CTET February 2026 admit card on its official website which will be held on 08/February/2026for those aspirants who want to become teachers at the primary and upper primary levels. CTET is held for Level 1- which covers the classes from 1st to 5th and Level 2- which covers the classes from 6th to 8th and is the best qualifying exam for the aspirants who want teacher jobs in central government schools along with institutions. Eligibility Requirements for CTET:
1. Age restriction:-> There is no upper age limit for the CTET exam but aspirants who are willing to take it must be at least 17.
2. Level 1 Eligibility for Classes 1 to 5:-> Candidates must have 50% in their senior secondary in the last year of a two-year elementary education diploma – 45% in an elementary education diploma – 50% in a four-year elementary education bachelor’s degree – and 50% in a two-year education diploma.
3. Level 2 Eligibility for Classes 6 to 8:-> Candidates must have completed a two-year elementary education diploma and earned at least 50% in a single year of a bachelor’s degree in education and graduated with 45% of the possible points. in accordance with NCTE regulations and completed a four-year B.A./B.Sc.Ed. or B.El.Ed. programme with 50% of senior secondary grades and 50% of a bachelor’s degree in special education.
