The Karnataka State Police [KSP] has announced a large-scale recruitment for the post of police constable in different units . Through the advertisement nos. 01/Recruitment-4/2026–27 and 02/Recruitment-4/2026–27 a total of 3991 jobs have been made available. The online registration process will start on June 8 and run through July 3, 2026. The Karnataka Examinations Authority [KEA] portal is where applications can be filed. Candidates may apply for these roles provided they meet the age requirements and have passed PUC/Class 12 or an equivalent certification. The chosen candidates would be paid between 37500 and 76100 in addition to any additional benefits and allowances.

Academic Background:

• Candidate should have successfully completed Class 12 [PUC] or equivalent examination from reconganized board.
• Students who have passed through CBSE, ICSE, State Boards or NIOS are e eligible to apply.
• Individual holding a Two-year ITC/ITI qualification approved by National council of vocational taining [NCT/NVBT] in the required trades may also apply.
• A three-year polytechnic diploma recognised by the competent authority will be considered equivalent to PUC quailfication.
